PRIVACY POLICY
Speed Dawg LLC will not, without the advance consent of the customer, disclose a customer's account number, personal information, any credit card transaction information, or any customer account information of any kind, to any third party other than to Speed Dawg's agents, bank, or the bank processor, and only for the sole purpose of assisting Speed Dawg LLC in completing and / or validating the transaction, or as specifically required by law.
SECURITY STATEMENT
Speed Dawg LLC would like you to know that we are protecting your information, specifically credit card data, throughout the transaction process. Additionally, all customer information stored after the transaction is complete is protected from unauthorized access and use.
SHIPPING
Products will generally ship within one to three business days from the time that an order is placed using USPS Priority or First Class mail. Please allow up to 6 weeks for custom orders or out of stock items. The shipping fee is $5.99 for orders up to the amount of $9.99, $6.99 for orders from $10.00 to $39.99 and $9.99 for orders over $40.00 regardless of the number of items ordered for delivery in the continental United States. The shipping fee for orders shipping to Canada is $17.99. For international orders, the shipping cost will be determined by the current USPS Priority International rate and an invoice will be e-mailed to the customer prior to shipping.
OUT OF STOCK AND MADE TO ORDER ITEMS
Please allow up to 6 weeks for the production of custom and out of stock items. We do keep thousands of shift knobs in stock but we also offer the production of millions of possible shift knob combinations. This combined with the high volume of orders that we receive makes it impossible to keep every possible combination in stock at all times.
For this reason we have a Terms and Conditions Acknowledgment Checkbox included in our online store checkout stating that customers will be notified via email if an item that is ordered is not available for immediate shipping and that production may be approximately 3 to 6 weeks. The Acknowledgment Checkbox also states that customers will be notified via email and given the option to wait for the order to be produced, or to change the order to an item that is available for immediate shipping, or to cancel the order.
We do not charge our customers at the time that an order is placed on our website. When an order is placed on our website, the customer's credit card or PayPal account will be Authorized for the purchase. This means that the funds will remain in the customer's credit card or PayPal account but they are earmarked for this particular purchase. Most banks will only hold a purchase authorization for 7 days and PayPal will hold a purchase authorization for 28 days. If we do not charge the customer's account within that time frame the authorization will expire and we will not be able to charge the account. When this happens we notify the customer via email as soon as the order is ready for shipping and then send a second email with a PayPal Invoice that includes a link so that payment can be made by either a credit card or PayPal.
PRODUCT RETURNS & EXCHANGES
Every item is inspected for quality prior to shipping to the customer. If you need to return an item due to a product defect or a packing error made by Speed Dawg, contact us first by calling 717-741-2665 or 866-906-7801 or by e-mail at customerservice@speeddawg.com and we will provide instructions to return or exchange the item at our expense.
If you would like to return or exchange an item that you received contact us first by calling 717-741-2665 or 866-906-7801 or by e-mail at customerservice@speeddawg.com then wrap the item in bubble wrap and send it back to us via US Postal Service to our PO Box 177 address. (The item must be shipped via US Postal Service because UPS and Fed Ex will not deliver to a PO Box.) When received, Speed Dawg LLC will refund the amount of the items that are received to your credit card or PayPal account. All returns must be received by Speed Dawg within 30 days of the original ship date of the item. Speed Dawg will not accept items for return or exchange after 30 days of the original ship date. Speed Dawg does not refund shipping costs for items that are not defective or were not shipped in error. All returned items are subject to a quality inspection. Custom orders are not eligible for refund or exchange. Speed Dawg will not accept worn or damaged items for exchange or refund. Items returned to Speed Dawg in unacceptable condition will be returned to the customer at the customer's expense and the customer's shipping charges will not be reimbursed.
PAYMENT POLICY
Speed Dawg will accept payment via Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and PayPal. PayPal must be used when ordering from outside of the United States and Canada.
